Yadea KS6 Pro launches as e
Yadea's latest e-mobility solution purports to bring more stopping power to its class, packing a drum brake for its front wheel and a disc brake for its rear as well as an electric brake in the new KS6 Pro, whereas most e-scooters might have only 1 or maybe 2 out of those 3. The combo is rated for enhanced stability as well as a response time of as little as 0.1 seconds, within a distance estimated at 14 feet (~4 meters (m)) or less.
The KS6 Pro also runs on "nano memory" MPN polymer-coated tires rated for self-healing as well as tubeless properties, backed to handle most road conditions without a thought of bursting. Its deck and handles also have a "slip-free" treatment, paired with a "dual shock-absorbing fork" suspension system. A simple, straightforward head- and tail-light system (devoid of logos) and folding design that hides all cables within the frame completes the scooter's purpose-driven look.
Accordingly, Yadea seems to have chosen user comfort and safety over "SUV-like" performance in this new scooter, with a 500-800W "brushless DC" motor compared to the 800-1,500W ElitePrime. Then again, the 2 are rated for the same top speed of of 18.6 mph (or 29.9 kilometers per hour (km/h)), although the KS6 Pro's 15,300mAh battery is rated for a slightly shorter range of 34 miles (~55km).
The "robust" KS6 Pro comes in a single Dark Gray finish for its aluminum alloy frame, and is available on Yadea's US web-store for US$899 from now.
